…My long route to becoming a voice over artist.

I’m a Cal Berkeley grad who spent 5 years after college working in Frankfurt, Germany. Why, you ask? Because my degree was in German, and my interest was in business, so I jumped at the chance to work for a company exporting fancy cars to NATO troops stationed in Germany.

After 5 years, my sights refocused to the surgical device arena, where I started my 35 year career as a surgical sales consultant and manager.

Most of my career in surgical sales was spent in operating rooms, describing to surgeons and OR staff members exactly how our widgets worked. Some widgets were simple, but many were anything but. Detailing to my customers exactly how each product functioned was my forte.

An early incentivized retirement from Medtronic allowed me to pivot to the VO industry. Medical narration is my focus, as my many years in surgery provides a solid foundation, but I also look to lend my voice to many other projects.

I’ve raised two amazing sons with my wife and, when I’m not in my recording studio, I enjoy my leisure time in my backyard lagoon playground where I boat, fish, paddle, open water swim and watch the sunsets from my dock.
